La Garenne Cottages & Gites, Morbihan, Southern Brittany

La Garenne consists of 4 charming and romantic 200 year old thatched cottages in an exceptional location beside the beautiful River Blavet. Bursting with charm and character the gites have flowers adorning their exteriors and breathtaking views across the entire valley with its meandering river. They are some of the prettiest cottages in Brittany, have featured on French Tourism Brochures and are a very special place to come and stay.

Private heated swimming pool open May to September inclusive. Quaint Breton towns, traditional market days, good restaurants (the nearest is just a 5-10 minute stroll along the towpath) plus lots more to see and do locally. Several sandy beaches 20 to 30 minutes drive and 5 golf courses within 45 minutes' drive.

Our largest cottage sleeps 6 to 8 and our three other gites sleep 4 to 5. Summer season prices are fully inclusive of all linen, towels, fuel, final clean and welcome hamper with fine wine.

If you are not tied to school holidays, then why not come and visit us in the Spring and benefit from some very special prices, ie a cottage / gite for 4 at La Garenne in early May less than £20 per person per night and that's with the heated pool open too! We often have great weather in April and May; it is daylight until well past 9pm, and 10pm from May onwards. We have flexible start and finish days during April and you can come for a 5 or 10 night stay as well as the traditional week or fortnight booking.
